Mark Mascotte

Mark Mascotte attended St. Lawrence University in upstate New York and graduated from Pace University School of Law in 1996. Mark practiced law for three years for a large insurance defense firm based in Oakland, California focusing on personal liability and real estate law.

In October of 1999, Mark accepted the position as Vice President for TechSpace, Inc., a real estate firm providing office space and venture capital funding to technology based companies. Mark successfully oversaw completion and leasing activity of the San Francisco facility, and managed Tech Space’s West Coast operations.

In 2001 Mark was hired by Insignia/ESG, Inc. as a real estate broker where he completed over 500,000 sq ft of lease transactions. In 2003 Mark was recruited and hired as the Director of Leasing for The Swig Company, a privately held company with over 1 million sq. ft. of office space located in San Francisco’s central business district.

Mark and his family moved to Charlottesville, Virginia at the end of 2004, and he joined Stevens & Company as a real estate agent selling primarily farm and estate parcels. In early 2006 Mark joined Octagon Partners as a sales and business marketing professional.
