Ashley Smith

Ashley Smith graduated from James Madison University (1996, B.S. Health Sciences with Honors and Distinction). She received her Masters of Business Administration in 2001 from Old Dominion University.

From 2001 to 2003, Ashley worked in small business development in Northern Virginia where she helped develop two small wineries. She wrote business plans that received funding for the development and expansion of the wineries.

In 2003 she joined James Moore & Company, a regional CPA firm located in Gainesville, Florida. Ashley was a senior auditor who specialized in audits of non-profit organizations, local governments, and construction companies. Ashley relocated to Charlottesville in 2006 where she joined the team as Controller.
